Eminem

It all started with a camera.

This partnership was built on trust. In 2009, I accepted what I assumed would be just another cool photo project. I had no idea it would become one of the defining relationships of my career. Since then, I’ve worked alongside Eminem and his team through every studio album released during that time, every show he performed, commercial productions, editorials, campaigns, and so much shit that you will never see. My camera opened the door but understanding and trust kept it open.

Beyond the Assignment

Creative partnerships evolve. What begins as a single project rarely stays there when both sides continue to show up and solve problems. Every album introduced a new chapter. Every tour brought a different challenge. Every project required a different perspective. The work was never about repeating what had worked before. It was about understanding what needed to evolve while protecting what made it authentic.

What Trust Really Looks Like

People often assume the greatest benefit of working alongside a global artist like Em is access but nah, it’s responsibility. Responsibility to be prepared, to protect the relationship, to know when to lead and when to shut up and listen, and when to quietly do the work without becoming part of the story. Over time, consistency became far more valuable than any individual image. The camera was the tool but trust was the real job.

How My Role Grew

Making pictures remained at the center of the relationship, but the work continued to expand. Album campaigns. Worldwide touring. Editorial portraiture. Commercial productions. Behind-the-scenes storytelling. Archive development. Each project became another chapter in a much larger story. Individual assignments matter but sustaining value over time is the key.

The Outcome

Working alongside the same artist for nearly two decades has shaped the way I think about every creative partnership. Trust isn’t earned through one successful project. It’s built through consistency. Preparation. Discretion. Curiosity. And the willingness to keep showing up. Everything else grows from there.
